Admissions
For the 2027-2028 school year
The school will open an admission period in January 2027. Admissions Notice, Admissions Policy and Application Form will be posted here prior to admissions opening. You must have an eligibility letter from your SENO for a special school to apply for a place and meet our school's designation of pupils with a moderate general learning disability. It is important that parents apply for all special schools that your child meets criteria for.

For the 2026-2027 school year
Limerick Community Special School opened its Admissions Period from February 6th 2026, and closed on 27th of February at 12 noon. Applications received after the 27th of February will be treated as a late application.

All applications need to be posted in or handed into the school. Email Applications will not be accepted.
