On Thursday June 12th we had our inaugural Summer Festival in school. We had Ger's mobile farm, Shannon Ices and a disco. It was a very busy day and everyone was so tired at the end of it.

This year we were very lucky to be selected to take part in the iPlay programme with University of Limerick. Local TY groups in Limerick Educate Together Secondary School and Mungret Community College were trained by iPlay tutors on how to adapt PE lessons for students with additional needs.

We are all so proud of Principal Deirdre for running the Half Marathon for the school. Principal Deirdre, raised over €4,500 for the school. This is an enormous amount that will go a long way in supporting the children with specialised sensory equipment for their regulation needs. Pery class took part in the Team Limerick Clean Up Christmas Tree competition in December. They made a beautiful tree out of recycled materials.
